“Against these plodding Gimli Dwarfs we started with a rush up the flank and a rookie GR got the TD, though he did have to dodge from a Runner's flailing hands.

Then we prepared for a tough defence. We kicked long and rushed forward, The runner picked up the ball but only had 2 protectors. Our blitzers managed to race around the back of the Dwarfs and teamed up to take him down. The ball landed next to 2 Dwarfs and Zloos couldn't scoop it up. After that the ball changed hands time after time but stayed in the Dwarf half. We suffered yet another recent positional loss when Throt was perm injured (apo fail) by Angmar the Axe, and Skeetz also was injured in a dodge when he had a chance to escape with the ball. But we had done enough to keep it 1-0 at half time and Headcrusher brought the apo in to action when he piled on a Longbeard hard.

We blitzed forward at kickoff. Frenzy got Angmar in to trouble and he was brought down by a linerat. The Runner hadn't moved and Zloos had the ball in no time to score. After that it was all over bar the shouting. 2-1 in the end for a pleasing win.
