“A great match which looked tough for much of the time but eventually we came out the winners. The fans were rowdy with four rocks being thrown, 3 of them against us including 2 against Diablo the Krox!
The high Elves scored their first quite comfortably with both sides suffering a badly hurt player along the way. A dropped ball by Outeiro gave us worries as the Gondolin Generals raced forward but we managed to get through their line quick for an equalizer. Next half Outeiro went forward in a cage. He eventually broke out risking a hit from a lineelf. The Elf dodged from a skink, brought Outeiro down and even picked up. We were in trouble! Rio Grande just could not bring him down either but we did manage to trip him up moments later and Santo got our 2nd. The Elves again got through though they went a risky path with a krox gfi trip and some good Elf dodging needed for the score.
But in the end we had a few moments left and with the aid of Rio Grande making space Outeiro scored the winner with his sure feeted speed.”
