“Finally, a game against fellow humans. Both teams had some nicely developed Blitzers and I felt I was in for a challenging game. Won the toss, but Da Walking Dead got a Blitz! Rick Grimes led the charge through my lines and threatened the ball. I got it, but Jordan dropped the pass. Da Walking Dead got the ball on a lucky bounce and scored a turn later. The hu-Maniax managed to remove a few WDers and equalized on T8. Da WD just didn't quite have enough players to attempt the 1TTD and we went to the 2nd half. A Riot moved the clock forward, but it was too early to tell who that would favor. Some poor ball handling skills and unlucky blocks put some pressure on Da WD to attempt a throw, but the sun got in the lineman's eyes and he tossed it out of bounds. The hu-Maniax were able to recover by sheer strength of numbers and managed to stall out until T7. The Anchor did his best to cover his teammates at the cost of his noggin. Rick Grimes tried some heroics but came up short on a gfi. He did force the hu-Maniax to score rather than stall another turn, but again Da WD were a little short of players to try a 1TTD. Only 1 of their 9 KOs came back, while the hu-Maniax recovered their KOs every time. Some of The Anchors' fans were pretty upset about his injury and threw a rock at Shane Walsh. He'll have a permanent limp if they don't put him down. You never know, they might mistake him for a walker :)
