“On a dark and stormy night, a team of lanky soccer players took on some russians.
Goalaso 1:
In the first half, a silly fumble by Gennadiy, and some solid defense, left the Columbus Crew Soccer Club, an easy lane to the ball, 8 tiles into their own half. A well placed dump pass left a bit of space to pick up the ball. But with 2 defenders in close proximity. With one man from both teams on the ball, Steve Clark, smashed forward, destoying the only man close to Meram. Leaving enough open space for the young boy to go to the touchline unchallenged.
-HALF TIME-
Goalaso 2:
After defensive bombardment by the Ruskies, a hole is opened up to the quick footed CCSC (thank god for bad rolls), and an easy run on goal is given to Jario Arietta.
Goalaso 3:
After a failed short pass (like 2 squares), Bernardo Anor leaps to the side, picking up the ball and running towards the upper left flank. Seeing the oppertunity, Ethan Finlay courageously began a blitz, running from the middle of his own half, jumping over a massive defender, and making a risky block on a possible deterrent for the point. After that a simple run to goal was all that was needed.
