“Sudden Victory won the coin toss and chose to receive. They had a decent beginning with good blocking but they could not break armor in a reliable basis. Their opponents, 95% Hobgoblins, were not too concerned with the ball but aimed to take out the Elves best players. Joseph threw the ball to Resolute and the Catcher ran the clock out to score right before the break.

Hobgoblins received in the second half and they had the numbers advantage. They would expand that advantage when Resolute was killed by a foul and the medics could not save him. Amaranth had a shot at the ballcarrier but could not deliver. It was enough to force the Hobgoblins to score late in the second.

SV received with seven players against a full compliment. More than enough to score but it wasn't going to be easy. Vincent was back to QB with the absence of still KO'ed Joseph. Elven receivers sped up the left side of the field and Vincent ran forward to make the long pass. Siebaug III stopped the Elven offense singlehandedly when he intercepted the ball. Now the Hobgoblins had a chance to score but their player fell in the endzone. What a turn of events, SV escape with a draw ballgame.
