“Heavy casualties still plague Ancient's Way but they managed to gut out a tough win. Only a critical stumble by the Dark Elf ballcarrier of Greensnot Marauders opened an opportunity for the High Elves to turn them over in the first half. Kensai stole the ball in front of the Minotaur, dodged away and threw a pass to Laranis. Laranis ran forward and threw it to Elbereth who was flying towards the endzone. The Blitzer would catch the ball and run it in just as halftime hit.

AW received in the second half but GM was ready with a Perfect Defense. Already outnumbered, Kensai made a desperation run up the right side of the field. Jander would throw him a long pass that was caught but a Marauder would tackle him a turn later. A Goblin was thrown across the field and picked up the ball but Kensai dropped him with a roundhouse and recovered the ball. He would run in the touchdown to put his team up by two early in the second.

GM received with plenty of time to work and against only six players. They moved the ball up the field with no resistance but the defense engaged them in the redzone. The Goblin ballcarrier would be tackled but a Marauder recovered the ball and ran it in to prevent the shutout.
