“My first ever win in a major, and what a game it was!

A tough team led by a great coach, made up for a very tense game.

Won the toss and decided to kick first, the kick is good and deep, the Delf pretty much by himself in the backfield.

In turn 1-2 we had the chance to surf a couple marauders, but had no luck with it.

Chainsaw killed james brown in turn 2, but the cage around the ball carrier is loose, and we get to put banshee and cornell marking the elf renegade.

It pays off as Cyrus is forced to rr the blitz to shake the DT off the carrier, and then fails the dodge.

Wiz is used right away to hit banshee, but it misses!

So in turn 3 Banshee recovers the ball and hands it off to Daltrey, as set up a cage in the middle of the field, ready to elfstall for the whole half. In the meanwhile Cavalera gets rid of the damn saw.

We move the ball around, but the ST4 blodge delf breaks in with a nice dodge and pows Daltrey to a bh, dump-off saves us and Plant takes the ball.

Nothing much more happens until turn 8, when we need 2+ 2+ with RR to score, but we snake the last roll.

Second half starts with just 8 of us on the field, 5 out and no tds for each side. Looking grim. I know i can't take it to the OT, cause i'm sure i'll lose more men in the second half, so Lzzy Hale will elfstall from the backfield and then we'll improv.

Kick is neat, it lands right on the los in the Ogre TZ, we manage to deliver the ball in the backfield, but it's Plant who carries it. Meanwhile we try to keep someone in a scoring position, but Cyrus is out for blood and he keeps removing elves. Banshee is booted to av6 with apo fail, and we're down to 6 elves: 1 thrower, 1 blitzer, 1 catcher, 3 linos.

Finally we get to give the ball to Lzzy and Plant can advance, Cyrus is late on pressuring the ball and in turn 5 we give the pass it upfield to Plant and set up a line cage. He might try the break for the surf, but decides to surround my leaper instead, we easily reverse and give the ball to rookie lino Freddy, out of reach in turn 7, then safely score in turn 8.

Great game sir, you played hard. You came for the blood and got what you wanted :)
