Orca-Cola League Cup
Round 1

(translated from Orcish)
Someone put a match on our calendar, so we showed up to stomp them, and maybe score a bit. A batch of brightly dressed idiots showed up, we thought they were Elves and got excited. Turns out its those tricky rats. Always lying, those filthy rats. But they bring some sharp ones sometimes, so that's alright. These ones were especially crazy. Talking about fighting crime (what?) and fighting for justice. Normally only humies bother with that drivel.
We started off alright, but those rats can be tricky to keep down. Then they did some dirty elfey stuff we didnt really understand, and managed to keep themselves from getting punched the proper amount. Hark made a go for it, but tripped over a clog. Nearly impaled himself on a dead goblin.

Oh that reminds me, we need to catch one of those little farters.

Anyway, that was basically the game. We tried to hit em proper, but they either kept outta reach, or just took the punch like a champ. These rats were hard. Their sharp one was having a poor day at least. We did manage to score and pound of them real good, but the APO fixed it. APOs ruin the game, I tell ya.

After the game, we found a few more games on the schedule. But not these rats. Good luck going against these caped idiots, they cheat.

#4 Steele Magnolia – Serious Concussion (-AV)
Orca-Cola League Cup
Round 1

The Quixotic League travelled to the Hollows to do battle with a gang calling itself Bork Mork McOrc. They looked like Trolls, but they said they only had one troll. Winning the toss, the QLers opted to kick. Simon-Says paid the price, getting taken off as a Badly Hurt on a blitz in T1. I decided not to use the auto-doc. After that, both teams had trouble doing more than stunning, with only a few KOs sprinkled through the 1st half. The Quixotes managed to stop the score, though there was a tense moment when Hark Blarger dodged through about twenty-seven consecutive TZs (2, then 1), only to fall when he got into the open field. Clumsy Troll gangbanger (orc). Second half our Gutter Runners displayed their inability to catch early in the drive but made the catch when it counted for the score. The babes kept all our KOs coming back, but the McOrc crew were not quite as fortunate. They still managed to score on the League somehow, I honestly don't remember what happened. But there was enough time left for the League to line up once again and try to keep the game from going to overtime. In the end, Justice prevailed but not without cost; Steele Magnolia was hammered by Garth Bludgeoner and we thought for certain she was a goner. But we got word back from the base that the auto-doc was able to patch her up, though she'll have a permanent concussion and miss some time. The final play of the game saw the McOrc Trolls score a few KOs but fail do anything meaningful with the ball. The Quixotic League advances to round 2, and the BMMcOs head over to the Orcidas Swiss Shield to join some hapless lizards who got steam-rolled by a team of formideable dwarves.

Tilting for Justice... and Cheese!
