“Won this one going away. Most of the credit goes to my opponents bad luck (kinda like I had recently when I went 0/3/17)...but now 2 wins removed from that streak.
1st half opens with a pow/skull block for the 1st block, taking down a Chaos warrior and a journeymen. I rush the backfield, and they try to protect the BC, but I get a -2db on him with my strib baller, and get the push I need to pop the ball out. It lands outside of the block of Chaos players and in just one TZ, so I was able to rush in and grab it, scoring the next turn. Then I was able to delay them from scoring before the half. A relatively bloodless game, with very few KO's to be seen either. Dodge worked for the most part this time.
2nd half, I score quickish (3 turns?? maybe 4), as I believe going up 2-0 quick is better than stalling out for the score--gives me more chances to score and things can go wrong in a stall. It works in my favor, as again, I'm able to get the ball and score before the half.
