“The experimentaiton continues ! Facing norse with apes was a scary thought. And not any norse : they finished 2nd in the first season and fielded some steroid runner (str4, str5) plus "el classico", the pomb dauntless blitzer. But we decided to face them head on. They too have nothing but fur to protect them.

We recieved so we could control the tempo, hoping to maim as many player and be in relative control. They had a dirty chainsaw in reserve and if we could force them to use it in the last turn of first half, it'll be it's own victory. and the apes were on fire ! Lot of pow, very few skulls, ko's, injuries... We could run on the up sideline with few oposition. But the norse where trickier we expected and had banana peel on their side of the pitch (greased schoes), so we had to pass one turn eating them all and it put us at risk. But the troll failed is gfi in the blitz and we could make a perfect foul (bh) on him, forcing buuface to use his apo early. Then socring was easy.
Norses had 3 turn to equalize, but we where up 10 to 8 and an other time over allowed us to take the ball and hope to score a second td, wich would have mean a probable victory, but that was to much to ask.

Still we started the 2nd half 1-0, 11 vs 8 and feeled confident. The sky was clear of clouds, but it's not as if norses relied on their pass game to win. Actually the sun woke them up and they quickly equalized our number. We retaliate and ended 5v5 and the ball down. But an error from us and the presence of theire two star runners allowed them to take it and stall a few turns for the draw.

A draw vs that team still feel a little like a victory and nothing really serious happened to the apes, so let's rejoy !

On the experimentation notebook we could write : simyin should not fear norse. Go fight them. Cleverly, of course : don't follow if you didnt put them down ,etc. But if they come to you, HIT THEM !
We had some good dices so it helped us a lot but finishing the first drive 21 blocks to 9 (i think) was definitively a part of our succes.
