Up until this point my dwarves had been quite underwhelming, struggling to injure elves, fumbling the ball, that sort of thing but in this game they did nothing wrong. And I mean the sort of rolling that allows you to dodge into 2 tackle zones with AG2 on a 6+, then the next dodge into one on a 5+ followed by a dodging into 2 tackle zones and picking up the ball, amazing.

When you add this to the fact that my blocks almost always had a pow and that I almost always broke armour, well you had the massacre you see here. I killed his Rat Ogre (Apothed) but then my foul on it BH it, followed by a BH of his stormvermin, and with these two gone he could not muster the hitting power, not that it would have made much difference. Soon after two of his gutter runners were SI'd and another one of his lineman was down, but this time he didn't get up.

And then, to top it all off, on the turn that he was going to conceed the crowd throws a rock that SI'd his other gutter runner with a MNG. You have to feel sorry, and slightly embarressed, when you witness something like this.”
