“Was definitely a tough match! Worst suitability score game I've seen/played in the box (@564). With 560k in inducements we were able to get a wizard, a 6str non-wild animal mino and 2 babes (which would come in very handy!).

We received the ball, and decided to wizard on offence very early because we were able to simultaneously fireball 6 chaos players! ~5 of them were knocked down, one MNG and the rest stunned. This allowed for an easy opening drive after we surfed the 5 Str, 4 Ag Chaos Warrior (no injury) and began mass-fouling with DP. The fouls let to stuns before the DP was ejected. Our two killers (Nurgle Warriors with Claw+MB, one with PO/JU) were very quickly taken out of the game (BH) and did not regenerate. We managed to score with 2 turns remaining in the first half. We had an opportunity to surf the 5 Str, Ag Chaos Warrior a second time in the first half but Grashnak decided to roll a 1 on his GFI hit that would have surfed him... This allowed a long-shot of a TD for the chaos team which did not succeed.

The second half began by the Chaos team decimating our front line and proceeding to remove nearly all the nurgle players from the pitch. The beast of nurgle picked up a -1 Ma, which may lead to his retirement. The pestigor who just picked up his 3rd skill also picked up a niggling injury... Regenerate was nearly non-existent in this game...

With only 2 nurgle players left on the pitch, the chaos team scored with 3 turns remaining... Thankfully the babes went to work and allowed us to field a whole 8 players! ... Much better than the 2 we had on the pitch before that! Grashnak blitzed the way, and managed to allow for a pestigor to get in behind enemy lines with some friends to help shield him. On T16, a 3+ dodge (RR needed) allowed for us to get the 2-1 victory.

The casualty dice were not in our favour, neither was regenerate but we managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat and come away with the victory. Was a fun game, unfortunately it will have some lasting effects on the team :P”
