“This was a daunting match up against a big and successful Slaan team. We considered a wizard but decided to hire Setekh who did very well. A big crowd turned up to view the occasion.

Things turned out great for us. After a couple of hits Chupete the Krox took on our skeleton Bonetaker and was somehow smashed down to earth. He had not taken note of team training and somehow couldn't deal with all the bones. The Mountain blitzed and badly hurt Stupid, a lino on the edge of their line, and Son of Draknil went forward. (We were also timed out). A Slaan blitzer Chipiron then pushed Draknil aside but then another mistake as he tried to rush another step forward. Alas with his leg injury it was too much for him and he fell. Son of Draknil then dodged
away from a Slaan, picked up the ball from under Blitzer Merienda's nose, avoided any possible diving tackle and rushed over the line to score! Superb. His legend father Draknil would have been proud.
They received again and picked up. Setekh badly hurt another Slaan. Merienda took the ball up the flank. Bonetaker was hurt when he tried to dodge to foul their hitting blizer. It seemed Setekh was forgotten as he broke through a Slaan tackle and blitzed the carrier, stripping the ball from him. But still all was not yet lost for Frogsties as they did good work to recover the ball and score after a leap from Huevos.
Baron Vice was hurt by a rock from the crowd! Son of Draknil received and easily had the ball taken off him by the S4 leaper coming into the cage. A catcher superbly dodged through the cage and took the covered ball but then tripped over at the last moment. After some hits Knut picked up the ball and handed it off to Kraklow, who then blitzed clear and away towards the endzone.
A Slaan fell over before trying to blitz so SOD had to avoid one diving tackle to finish off the score. 2-1 and a great half.

Second half we really upped the hitting. Setekh appeared to kill their amazing star blitzer Huevos but the apo saved him somehow. SOD had the ball taken from him again, with the ball scattering to a catcher's hands. But the Mountain bashed him down and Knut took the ball. Merienda caught and cas'd him but then tripped over! Kraklow then picked up and managed to get another TD. 3-1.
There was not long left and rather than drive the Frogs retreated. Though SOD made his first career foul and broke a Slaan's leg, much to the ref's disgust.

A monster 52 blocks and 2 fouls thrown had taken their toll though just one minor Slaan player lost. A great win for the Villains.”
