Black Cup VII Quarter Final

We knew we had a tough one ahead of us here against former WoC Champion Burn Notice. Coach Azure chose to field only 12 Rats in order to have a Wizard, and we had only 11 Elves to field. So the attrition game was pretty important, and the attrition game was not ours this day. We failed to cause much damage, our one good foul on the CPOMBer healed by the apoth. Burn Notice kept sending Elves out at a steady pace so they could allow us to take the lead mid second half while holding on to their Wizard. They equalized just in time and at the beginning of Overtime there were 3 of us left. To add insult to injury, we lost the coin toss! And so it went down.

Well played Azure, good luck in the rest of it but I hope kigvan wins. ;-)
