Ook ook! D. Cong United took on one of the newcomers to the MLS. But we didn't take Temper Bay for granted, since they were coming off a win over another simyin team. Granted, it was the not-very-good Fake Salt Ape, but the Mutiny still had a better record than us. We won the toss and elected to receive, keeping Bolgrot on the bench. The chef took away one reroll both halves, but the crowd gave it back to us (Cheering Fans x2). It was a close 1st half, with Fabián going out early and us deciding not to use the apothecary. The Mutiny knocked the ball loose several times but we managed to get it back and score on T8. Extra arms ftw! Then a riot rolled the clock back and Temper Bay had a chance at a score. Fortunately Steady Eddie shut that down quick. We started the 2nd half up a player, and quickly widened that gap. Temper Bay made a desperate run for the endzone, but were undone by a failed gfi and we knocked the ball loose and recovered. Then Steady Eddie decided to stall on the goal line so Davy Apenaud could put the boot into Bill Harteater in repayment for an earlier foul. Both fouls got ejected, but ours resulted in a RIP! OBBA badge ftw! This led to an early concession and a hasty exit from the stadium by coach spock. I hope we haven't run off yet another new MLS coach. It's getting hard to keep those guys around.
