Over the course of the match, the stalling game and badly-positioned plays of the Rodents (coach Gozer was accidentally intoxicated by some fermented Gatorade) forced them to pay a heavy casualty toll. The robot tech is going to be busy with repairs for a while now.
After one too many glory passes in the first half, the Rodents dropped the ball. Licktastic had no trouble opening up the scoring by scooping up the ball and hopping into the end zone.
In the second half, the Rodents would have to step up the defence.
Batteries recharged and applying constant defensive pressure in the second half, the plucky robots occasionally snatched the ball from the enemy's grasping fingers, and sneaked in a couple scores for the dodgy, ratlike win.”
