“Exciting finish to the game that looked like a certain loss. We failed too much in the first half, giving up the 8th turn defensive TD to the chaos - even used our wizard (although fireball did smash Conan's hip). Second half, our players fought tooth and nail (hurting a few chaos warriors in the process) - but could not prevent the grind and the chaos had complete control and scored with 2 turns left to go up 2-0.

At this point our bench did give us advantage in numbers to the 6 remaining chaos - but with no RRs...it looked bleak - compassion scored a one turn TD to bring us within 1 with 1 turn left. We hoped for the blitz or riot - but got neither as we kicked off. However, Shuttlespike was on the LOS and only 1d blocked (for a skull...so he remained within striking distance of the endzone...several blocks and skaven runnning around to re-position and Shuttlespike was chain pushed 2 spaces downfield...then made the dodge away from ST 5 tentacles, the pick up and 2 gfis to pull off the draw. Two perfect turns with no RRs to end the game keeps our flickering hopes of a championship still alive.”
