1st half, I score quickly as is my wont. Figure I'm probably only going to get one score chance before my guys start leaving the pitch. Somehow most of my team stays on the pitch for the 1st half. Anyway, the Chaos Pact team gets the ball and starts rolling forward. I had my chances, but couldn't quite capitalize on them (in part to a stretch of 12 block dice where 8 of the dice were skulls..involved 2 RR's and a couple of -2db). But, they stall one turn and the Bock dice provide me with at POW!/POW! on a one last desperate block to stop the TD (-2db of course). I was able to pick up the ball and get in a rare cage. Their Break tackle mino managed to get in (should have marked him in hopes of using up the Break tackle on the 1st dodge, instead of giving him just one dodge to make). and POW my GR. But, they weren't able to secure the ball for a TD.. halftime lead of 1-0 to the Ratz
2nd half saw more players leave the pitch..well, ratz. the 2 SI's were Journey Ratz and the death was a LineRatz with no SPP's (no way a Line rat ever gets an apothecary look on this team), so no real loss there. They score, despite a pitch invasion that took out more of them than Ratz (yea +1 FAME). Then I set up to try and score fast, many of my players are on the LOS..including a GR on the each sideline. Right after I pushed 'ready', I realized that they were going to get blitzed..and they did! My best GR was pushed out of bounds, but into a friendly section (not hurt or ko'd). and they got a player under the ball..but he didn't catch it. Several turns by both teams were spent trying to get the ball/score. The ratz passed/punnted deep to hoping to get it to ZombiBait...then the Chaos Pact got the ball and passed it back to their Goblin, who caught it but was tripped up by the trip wire at the goal line an BH himself. The ratz get the ball while another Pact player trips entering the EZ. a long pass later, and ZombiBait is in for the winning TD on turn 8!
