NWFL season 15 game 11

Coach Xeterog's game plan was executed by his players with precision--except for a brief moment late in the 1st half.

1st half started with an Angry fan clocking Campbell with a rock, stunning him as the ball was coming right to him. Al de'Geko manages to get back and pick up the ball and the offense begins a slow progression forward. Still, de'Geko loses control of the ball when he wrestled an Pro Bowler down. Shaking the cobwebs out of his head, Campbell eventually gets the ball and tries to start down field, but the Mackville elves are very mobile and tie him up just enough that he can't get in for the TD. But, Zhar Naggarund Hobgoblin Pastor Rini can, and one hand off later he is in for the lone score of the game. In the brief moment before Halftime, Moot-Dawg shows off his incredible passing skills, completing a long bomb (13 square. end zone to one space over the LOS) on a 2+. Showboating at it's finest.

2nd half finds the crowd so enthused by the prospect of Moot-Dawg's antics, that they rush the field, knocking over 6 players on the pitch (2 Raiders, 4 Pro Bowlers). Moot-Dawg is undaunted and managed to complete 4 more long bombs in the 2nd half--but to no real avail, as the Zhar Naggarund defense was just good enough to keep putting the receivers on the ground (or watching them trip while dodging away). Campbell gets the ball and makes a break for the EZ, only to get tripped up himself just inches from the TD.

Al de'Geko was the MVP of the game, injuring 2 elves and getting the MVP. He learns some pressure points, making him a better dirty player.

oh, that mis-step I menetioned. mid-way through the 1st half, White blitzes and fails to knock down the target. Coach Xeterog wants him to just stay put, but he mis-reads the signal from the sideline and tries to reposition him self next to the Target..failed dodge, falls on his head, Badly hurt--at least the apothecary was around and awake.

I'm cursing myself here..but I'm now at 6 wins for the season and have 3 games to go...can we make it to 7 for the 1st time???

#3 Vee Money – Fractured Leg (MNG)
#10 Luberdoodle – Dead (RIP)
Cinco para sesenta y tres... Moot-Dawg is a man among ants.

The unwashed legions of Pro-Bowler fans that long for the glory days of Mackville's Championship season, are now content to watch Moot-Dawg do what is akin to a Harlem Globetrotter's Skit with bowling balls. He is just that entertaining to watch.

We forgot to score and lost, too, though.

17 for 212 on the season. Raising his average to 12.47 per pass.
It appears unlikely he will beat his record breaking season with just 7 games, but his pace is unmatched. Extrapolated over the course of an entire season, he would go 59 for 742 and a total score of 860. Unheard of considering his earth shattering record of 42 for 447 was, at the time, rarefied air. Toss on, Moot-Dawg... toss on.
