We received and managed to march down and score T4 without much challenge. Our best Flesh Golem was injured but regenerated, so we felt comfortable with our defensive lineup including three wolves (two of which were 4 str).

Unfortunately, a massive sweltering heat hit knocking out 4 of our players, including Wilhelm and one of our flesh golems. Suddenly, we were down 11 vs 9. That was exacerbated by a first turn casualty for their wolf... Making it very quickly 11 vs 8. Down in numbers, we tried to force their movement laterally rather than vertically, which seemed to work relatively well, forcing them to possibly have to expose some players on turn 7 to put themslves in a position to score turn 8.

They tried playing the sidelines but we were able to recover fairly well, pinning their werewolf against the sideline next to our flesh golem and 4 str wolf, leaving him with no real viable dodging options. Their only chance was a non-RR 5+ dodge attempt to a handoff and 2 gfis, and they managed to succeed it to tie it up 1-1 at the half.

Heat struck again, claiming our 4 str wolf, but at least took one of his wolves this time, as well. This time leaving it 11 vs. 10 for them. I felt we played decently defensively, but maybe made one mistake by surfing a zombie to try and even the numbers a bit. It left Wilhelm a bit out of position, but he was able to recover with plenty of time remaining.

Doclystria defended it pretty well, leaving us only a 2 BD hit on the ball if Wilhelm could make a dodge, but he failed it, leading to an easy walk-in score. We did have other options but none which would have given us better odds than the 3+ dodge attempt.

We had a pretty decent shot at a OTT with a 9 MA wolf and two additional frenzy wolves and grab saving us a blitz action. We had a pretty simple 2 BD hit to setup a grab 2 BD hit leading into a frenzy, pushing our wolf into a position that (assuming he got the ball), he could blitz with 2 BD out of and do 1 dodge and 2 GFIs for the score. Unfortunately, it was a "perfect defence" and that's all she wrote. Congrats on the win!
