“We faced some fancy looking Elves but were impressed with their quick KO removal of Mercy, our Witch Elf. Cleon responded with an important casualty as he badly hurt their Mighty Blow Blitzer. The Elfen's though did a good drive and after pulling back their thrower and later getting to our corner they stalled out some time. They then blitzed us at kickoff but we had just enough time to go end to end and equalize.

2nd half we were 11 v 9. We got nasty and laid in a few kicks, particularly on their agile but weakly armoured blitzer. The Pro Elves kicked out too, though the downed folks seemed tough enough to only be stunned. The player advantage was tipping the game slightly our way but when stalling I foolishly left the carrier next to the end zone,and a Catcher managed to dodge through and push him in to the end zone. So we were at 2-1 but Elfen had chance to come back. Thankfully with our sidestepper avoiding a blitz and one of their catcher's stunned from a rock we were able to keep things tough. Then when a Pro Elf Lino advanced with the ball after a handoff his cover player tripped up. With a quick 2DB takedown we were able to cover the ball and keep the win. Also we fractured the skull of one of their super agile fellas when he tried a 1DB. Which made the Warriors cackle.

In the end the Warriors are satisfied to get their 2nd win in a row.”
