“15 passes in a single game - that's an awesome stat. But the one I like more is that despite scoring 5 TDs, I only rushed for 2 yards!

Swampserpent is an elfy player, but he's quite a bash one as well, and I was lucky to come away with so few injuries here - especially from the fouls, which never once attracted the ref's attention, but also (as far as I can remember) failed to do any damage.

Needless to say, I threw a lot of long bombs. Swampserpent also threw a lot, but mostly he was making quick passes for SPPs as he's still in the process of training up his players - and he certainly did a lot of that today, But the big difference was probably my luck on two particular Valkyries' drives which both ended with the ball-carrier failing 2+ rolls and leaving the ball, not only exposed, but within easy reach of my thrower, and on both occasions I was able to score.

Honestly, with 4 journeymen and no tackle, I wasn't really expecting to do much in this game, and those two lucky breaks, along with a couple of standard long-bomb scores meant that Swampserpent didn't have the control of the game he would have liked (and expected).

Still, it was a fun game and all the more pleasant for me as it breaks a 5-game losing streak for Sensation.

But more importantly, this was the game in which I finally made it to 50K yards passing. It's been something I've been working towards for a looooooong time and I'm kind of relieved to finally get over the line. Not that it's going to stop me playing exactly the way I do, mind. It's just another step on the road, but as far as I know, I'm the first coach on the site to make it, so yay me!
