I didn't set up for receiving to start with and left a thrower and fast GR on the bench.. We still got the ball forward but with their defence placement we needed a 2+ for the carrier to get a reasonable spot. He failed and then was fouled into the cas box by the dirty player! Which the ref slept through. We tried to wrestle down their carrier but they got through to stall and score against us comfortably enough. The Rogre could actually have got at their carrier but failed his 2+ break tackle!
We blitzed 2nd half and got under the ball. Bizarrely I twice used rr with my blitzer to reroll blitzes against a skilled Beastman WITHOUT block. We had the ball but a takedown and a bad scatter let the Nurgle race off. The Rogre had a chance to redeem himself by blitzing but this time failed Wild Animal! A pathetic performance. Our players were hurting themselves tripping up from failed dodging and a linerat even killed himself! It was going wrong and we went down 2-0.
Zloos made a minor consolation by scoring super fast in the last moments, but it showed we really should have done better. The players followed my own failure. Maladie put up a strong effort which proved enough.
