Both teams suffered from a shortage of basic skills (most notably Block, but also some sure hands and dodge would have come in handy at times) and rerolls to compensate.

The Runners were able to score in two turns after the 1-0 scored in the first half. Blitzed after that and had a play with a fair shot at a 2-1 before halftime, but Nuffle wanted otherwise.

In the second half the Runners scored an elfy 2-turner immediately, including some fine passing to a catcher in a TZ. Then after the next lineup they were fortunate when the ST4 ball carrier failed a dodge (no rerolls left) and dropped the ball where the catcher could snatch it up and run towards the end zone.

Rookie lineman skilled up a ST increase after the game, let's hope he doesn't get killed right away before he gets some defensive skills!
