“Magnificent game for the Linguists against a human team with two scary elf-hunters (Mighty Blow Block pieces, one of them with Tackle) and one ugly Ogre!

Humans stalled successfully for the first half, losing the ogre halfway through to a successful gang foul which had him within a short, curly hair of death before the apothecary was able to patch him up enough to carry him through. He'll still miss next game, though!

Casualty dice were hot throughout the game for the Linguists, and their many blocks (52 vs 39) were rewarded with no less than 4 casualties!

The elves were able to score in 4 turns in the second half, then were worried about a quick 2-1 score from the Juri team. Nuffle laughs at us all, and the designated human ball retriever fumbled the ball, allowing the elves to pick it up and run it in for a win.

The sneaky humans braved Sunny Skies to set up for a shot at a 1-turn score, but would have been forced to make a 6+ Pass, some dodging and two GFI's with no rerolls... and Nuffle didn't want it to happen.
