“Due to the draw, this match ended up as the Final for SWL Season LXXVI. Needing only a draw, we won the toss, received and scored on turn 8. We kept knocking dead'uns into the casualty box, but the necromancer at the Gunfight knows his stuff and he was at full strength for the 2nd half.

The second half was very tense. The Gunfight had a good start, and headed down on flank. Some handy blocking though and we managed to get through and blitz a blodge ghoul with two dice. Push/Push, reroll, DOUBLE SKULLS! Nooo.

With that error, the Gunfight scored quickly and tied it up with still 6 turns left to play and Star Runner Hergal Goldbrew remained KO'ed.

The drive broke down and it became a slug fest and the Giants lost Rammi Helmsmann who became a zombie. It was Games of Thrones like as the Dwarves clustered around the ball and the undead horde stormed the line. In the end though the ball remained unclaimed and out of reach and the game ended 1-1.

A very tough game, one of the toughest the Giants have played but we have now become SWL Champions!
