“Crown of Sand Qualifier Final. Up against a huge dark elf team with even more stat-freaks, the Krakens induced two of the Darkside Cowboys - Elijah Doom conveniently suffering from amnesia and forgetting he had died playing for the Krakens against the Buccs in Round 1!

MYM received first half, and made a drive up the left wing; however one supporting player slipped, leaving Hubris Rakath to smash the ballcarrier witch. The Krakens recovered briefly, but with statfreaks and stipballers MYM managed to pop it again and squeeze in under pressure. However that at least left the Krakens with two turns to counter - three with a riot - and Seron evaded his pursuers from deep on the right, to make a nice pass to Nithar on the right wing who broke home for 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half the Krakens continued to chip away at MYM with their hitters, and in particular their dirty player Dalar who dealt a lot of damage with seven fouls - using three bribes in the process! That left Seron to saunter in for the winner, and the ref able to retire to a nice quiet beach hut on the Khemri coast with his five bribes...”
