“Strange, swingy game.

Started on offense, made a boneheaded move on turn two or so to get some extra hits in, which lead to a goblin getting surfed and a whole lot more threatened...

But that turned out just to be bait, since it allowed me to 1d surf two blitzers the turn after! Somehow...

Unfortunately, that lead me to try and surf the other two blitzers as well, which eventually worked, but caused the ball to be a tiny bit exposed to a thrower blitz and a throw-in and well, no score.

Both trolls got KO'd along the way, with only one coming back for the second half. This, combined with the Amazing Andrew being his usual amazing self (ie utterly useless), meant things looked bleak.

Until that one turn. That one turn where everything worked and we managed to 2d sack the thrower after a string of dodges (5 or so?), got a pow and a favorable throw-in.

Goblins being goblins, the ball got fumbbled about a bit on it's way to the endzone but it got there, perhaps in part because the orcs were busy hitting the speedbumps...er teammates who got in the way.

Doubt I'll ever get used to goblins though.”
