“The Sausage-men could not have picked a tougher opponent for their "recovery" match after getting smashed last time out, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Made zero progress on their own ball first half, and lucky not to concede on Turn 8. Did manage to remove 2x Ulfs, so morale improving and 10 vs 9 as we lined up for the second half. Vikings gifted Black Pudding an early TD, then it was all about whether the Sausages could defend smart for 5 turns. They could not, left one gap too many, which was ruthlessly exploited. Still, we'd have taken 1-1 at the start of play :-). Thanks for the education!”
