“One of the most annoying, and yet most enjoyable games we've played.
We should have won, and yet the oppostion so easily could have won.
And when i say should have, i mean we could have just stepped over the line. But we didn't. We fooled around, thinking it was safe, and then Nain went for it, tripped up, and killed himself. Carrying the ball. Moving sideways. Under no pressure. Cue the Apothecary, who saved the stupid fool (i wouldn't have bothered after that display...). So, we feel a little stupid for not just scoring. Lesson 1; Dont showboat. We've taught that lesson a few times in the past, and yet we dont heed our own advice.

Anyway...... the first half was split neatly down the middle - we dominated the first 4 turns and scored, and then vice-versa. Second half was end to end, with the CD's surging just two yards from our line. We rallied, and forced our way up field. And then we showboated. You'd think we were 1st game novices, not half century heavyweights, by that display.

A great game, and a great opponent, but that doesn't make us feel any less stupid! (what the hell was i thinking?!?) Thanks for the game. =)
