Basically every roll went in our favor, made for a rout fairly early on in the game.
2. Playing vs. Deathroller
Haven't played against the Deathroller much at all. My idea was to just try and avoid giving it free blocks. That was difficult though because I couldn't dodge away from it, and I wasn't willing to commit players to try and knock it down. Luckily skated by with minimal Deathroller issues.
3. Patient Defense
I wasn't really sure how to play against the Dwarves and the Roller. I elected to be very withdrawn. My plan was just to control the center and force the dwarves to pick a side and hopefully funnel them into the wall at some point. I would try and make a blitz and foul anything that we could catch in the middle. The funneling and fouling was working, and I'd say it was a sound idea. Opponent failing a rush to form the cage triggered our success, but even before that, the concept seemed sound.
3. Bad Screening
Had a breakaway goblin in the first half and I didn't screen him off correctly. Left for a very simple 2D blitz with block and tackle on the ball.
4. Effective Fouling, Numbers Swing
Really started the snowball effect once we got the numbers advantage. We were able to easily gang up on fouls, and eventually it was overwhelming. ”
