The Dwarfs have proven their might, someone might say.

The CDs took the offense, picked up the ball but didn't manage to get close to our endzone; on the contrary we put pressure on what could be called a Chaos-Dwarf-cage (and not a real cage) which forced the little ball-carrying Hobgoblin to run backwards. After a failed (and unnecessary, if you ask me) sprint, the ball was ready to be picked up by a real Ball-Handler. TD Dwarfs.

With only limited time left, our missent brothers tried everything to score back, but failed to break the defense (dodging through some tacklezones with a bull without break tackle 3 times shows the total desperation of this attempt). Mission accomplished.

The second half saw a perfect defense of the CDs which wasn't that perfect, because there was enough room to move the ball forward step by step. An attempt to place a bull near the ballcarrier resulted in a nice crowdpush. A nice "badly hurt" was the indignant answer of the fans to such a helpless action.
The next few turns saw a little bit of blocking around the line of scrimmage; there was nothing else to do than to await the final whistle. But our fans wanted us to score once again, and so we were forced to use some desperate tactics ourself, leaving the runner with the ball unguarded near the endzone. Some dodging and one-dice-blocking later, the ball was picked up by another Hobgoblin, but this time again he missed the important action ... the pass was incomplete (exactly what you expect on a long pass to a bull without Reroll). Picking up the ball again saved the day because the ball carrier couldn't be knocked down with one dice in the next turn and then managed to dodge into safety. The final dodge by the hard-working Hobgoblin to hit the ball free in turn 8 was missed, and victory was ours. Tough match, but showing the CDs where they belong is always a pleasure.
