“The Squeakers accepted the challenge by the stronger Wild Bitch Lesbian team with some reluctance.

However, the game soon turned the Squeakers way when in the opening minutes of their defence, the Wild Bitch Lesbian used their most potent player Matilda (AG4, Block, Tackle, Dauntless, MA7, Leap) to take on Squeakers Rat Ogre Fleshtearer unassisted (one dice block).

Fleshtearer took the hit, then gave one back shortly afterwards that sent Matilda to the casualty bin. The Squeakers were able to withstand the Lesbian charge and scored their first TD about halfway into the opening period.

The Squeakers kickoff started with a pitch invasion as the Lesbian fans were not happy with the rough treatment given by Matilda. Three players including Fleshripper were stunned and the Squeakers were unable to stop the Lesbian from scoring an equaliser.

The Squeakers were able to score a quick reply in the opening period, then blitzed the Lesbian on the final kick off of the half to keep the momentum in their favour.

In the second period, the Lesbian started in offence, but a dropped backfield pass allowed the Squeakers to storm the Lesbian, steal the ball and score a third TD.

The next kick off saw the Squeakers steal the ball again and score a decisive fourth TD to put the match way beyond the reach of the Lesbian.

With about a third of the second period left, the Squeakers decided to play conservative defence and allowed the Lesbian to score an easy TD rather than suffer an unlucky casualty somewhere as their allocation of magic sponges had been used for the match.

Despite the high luck for my opponent, a lot of crucial blocks did not go his way, as he got a lot of skull/pows (both of us having block) so he could not open up gaps in my line. He also brought the ball forward too early a couple of times which made it easy for me to target my defence.

Fleshtearer got to 75 SPP on turn 7, so I didn't block with him on turn 8.
