A horrible game for the Dwarves. Neither a Buzzing Longbeard nor the Rune of Might could help them today. Scarred Goat cut a bloody swathe through the grim-faced stunties, and even the unreliable Adversary managed to do some damage. The Dwarves retaliated by a massive blow to the head of the enraged bull, killing him instantly. Or so we thought. A mysterious robed figure with tentacles traling along the ground stepped forward and whispered in the dead Minotaur's ear, and seconds later the creature opened it's eyes again.

This was a fun game, but dtahyaio's insanely bad luck never let go, making it into a fairly one-sided affair, in spite of some heroic dwarven efforts.

#2 Oeho Crystalbreaker – Smashed Hip (-MA)
#12 Nunira Rockbolt – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#12 Nunira Rockbolt – Smashed Knee (NI)
Well, what can you do? ...

An early kill from his claw/rsc monster chaos warrior didn't help, apoth gone by the 3rd turn, but the match seemed fine up until turn 4 ... with some effort i had managed to pry the ball free from him and pick it up with my st4 longbeard (from the rune of might, no way would this team be lucky enough to roll +st).

He then found himself faced by a beastman and a warrior, out by himself, so he managed to score a pushback on a 2d-against block on the beastman, used his break tackle to dodge free, and running for the line, attempted a gfi. 1 - go for it fails, team reroll used, 1 - go for it fails. Yes, of course - he didn't just fall over, he managed to smash his hip on the way down. Movement drop, so once the team raises enough cash from selling fundraiser cookies, he'll find his way to a retirement home where they can look after his hip.

After that, borderline played very well I must admit. It was just a simple matter of his chaos rolling right over the top of the dwarves, granted the dice made it terribly easy for him, but borderline did the right thing and earnt himself a swag of spp along the way.

The match was enjoyable enough once the casualties stopped coming in towards the end of the match ... granted that was likely because i was only able to field 5 players by the end of the game and he didn't have enough to hit.

Thanks for the game borderline, you were a nice guy and actually seemed too apologetic about your luck ;). Hopefully we could meet again someday when the dice are balanced more evenly.
