“Playing against Trog is always a pleasure, but tonight, the pleasure was all mine. Really. Lady Luck stepped in and made sure that Trog would have absolutely no pleasure whatsoever.

Every single possible break went my way. From 4 of my 5 niggling rolls succeeding to the kickoff results. I think I got a Blitz! a Pitch Invasion, a riot, and several free RRs. All of them worked against Trog.

The game started off with the Cordials receiving. The Defenders set up a nice line, but it's awfully hard to defend when 6 of your players are suddenly KO'd or Stunned. I scored my first TD before most of the Defenders stood up. That was to be the last time I would receive this game.

Next, my kick off. Riot. 6 turn riot. Turn 8 already? The Defenders made a comp and cleaned off the line, but that was it.

The second half kept going on like that. He'd set up a nice play, deep into my backfield. I'd swarm whomever I could on the receivers and he'd work his way out. That part was all a lot of fun and a very well played match. Then came the throw, or the hand-off, or the catch, or whatever.... double 1s. I managed to capitalize on them, but I'm just a scavenger that way.

Trog was at no point out-played. Instead, we kept on going at it trying to pull off the next big play, which was (and is always) a blast. Unfortunately, the dice just didn't help him out. In fact, they blatantly screwed him. Hard. With a cactus.

Thanks for the game, Trog. Next time you get to roll well and I get hosed, ok?
