My opponent's conservative play was crippled by the amazingly bad luck on both sides of the gridiron. His attempt to hold onto the ball at the end of the first half and run down the clock only resulted in him failing to score when he missed an easy pass on turn 8 without any rerolls left.
Then, durring the second half, he tried the same thing, managing to tie the game 1-1 on turn 8... only for me to make a daring last-turn end-zone score in the driving rain.
Good things come to those who risk it all... even if half their team is KOed.
