“My handicap was virus (4 less players, hurray!). The game was a close one, the Champions having one more player, all the Akae players being blodgers. Since I did not have a single tackler, there really was no way to stop them (wonder whether I should have used my DP).

Lady Luck failed me as well. I had two 2d shots at the ball carrier late in the game, but failed both.

It seems there will be no metal this round. Time to teach some skills to my new WDs. The retirement of Fire II, my greatest thrower ever, is close after he niggled in his sixth skill roll. He will make for a hell of an offensive assistant.”
