“Things looked pretty good in the first part of the game. The BFBBBB even had a small chance to prevent the 1st TD of Endecha as a WE had an unfortunate snake eye on a GFI - but I wasn't really prepared for this and made some bad planning. It wasn't too hard to equalize and I even managed to come into 2nd half with 1 elf in the KO box soon followed by one of his palls on the LOS.
But around turn 4 or something like that it all went horribly wrong somehow. Through some good dodging and a couple of blocks nin managed to get a 1d block on my ball-carrier - fair enough; I could have set up better. What made it rather an unpleasent was the SI my ag4 thrower suffered as the apoth decided to take his coffee-brake this very instant and I rolled a 1. This was followed by a couple of scatters by the ball above the head of some orcs only to land in the hands of the WE who was at this moment surrounded by a couple of BOB and a lineorc. What looked like a relatively safe run into the endzone had now turned into a rather desperate fight to recapture the ball - obviously this failed as evidenced by the score.
At the following kick-off I had three turns left, 1 BOB in the KO, both my throwers injured (a couple of Blitzters joined them soon after) and a blizzard suddenly swepped across the grassy field. Through some twist of fate I managed to blitz Nikolaj Bentzon - my most cable BOB - free, make a short pass with Marcus to the aforementioned Bentzon and make two GFIs towards the TD-line and all without a RR! The RR was however promptly used as I tried to dodge away with a Blitzer to cover my dear lad. The blitzer hit the ice instead.
With a small hope of scoring the equalizer in my very last turn I awaited my opponents moves with anticipation. But poor Bentzon's dream of scoring the deciding TD was shattered by a 1d block from a evil little, skill-less lineelf. Shame on you people! Have you no heart!?
Thanks for the game nin. I'll get you next time =)
PS.
I'll be sending you Bentzon's medical-bill - he's gonna need the best shrink in town after this emotional dilemma you put him in.”
