A dicerape in its fullest meaning.

One of the handicaps was virus, so I began the game with 10 players (by turn 3 I had 8 players after two BH).

In the first drive, I am blitzed, but the ball is too far from the Adherents. Of course I fail to pick it up three times... Evidently, the Adherents score after so many concessions.

From that moment, the curse of the 1s takes hold of the team... A few highlights - Hecatomb only needs one gfi to score the equaliser. Needless to say, he fails it and gets stunned. The ball then goes out of bounds and an interesting rebound puts the balls in the hands of the Adherents' best player. 0-2.

In the second half, I failed a few more rerolled gfi, but somehow manage to recover the ball. My ST3 catcher pushes a darkie, and then dodges to score... Dodge result = 1. Rerolled dodge = 1. Injury roll = Niggling injury. Appotecary roll = 1. Sweet.

The worst, however, was still to come. My ST4 MA 9 WD is blitzed... and killed on turn 6 of the second half.

I do not mind losing to the dice from time to time, but getting screwed by the dice plus losing two +ST guys is nuts.

even worse, they were SI'd... skewed CAS a feature of the game 0/3/1









perhaps a few more players should have sat out with the virus, because this was bloody murder by dice!!!

I wasn't required to play at all well this game, 71% luck and a decimated opponent whose best players die or niggle on harmless plays made it a walk in the park...
