#12 Kama VII – Broken Ribs (MNG) #12 Kama VII – Smashed Knee (NI)
“We'll call this game "TR management", for between the niggle to one of our precious guard linerats and our agi 5 gutter aging a niggle, we lost about 30 pts of TR following end-game-retirements. But it's another victory over a decent opponent, so we'll walk with heads held high. Really shouldn't have won the game, though...he scored easily to start (safe-throw negating an interception--man, I _HATE_ that skill!), then after a botched catch by a rookie linerat trying to prove himself, the ball went the other way for a second elven score. But attrition is starting to take its toll...after the 2nd turn niggle to our linerat, the only ones hitting were the rats, knocking elves off pitch one after another. Thus there were too few elves to stop us from scoring not once, not twice, but three more times!
A valiant elven effort ensued to tie the game, though things seemed over when our SV intercepted a lineelf's pass (thrower was down for the count) and was racing for a 4-2 edge (and what would've been his next skill roll). But that blasted leaping lineelf, fancying himself a wardancer, made an incredible series of rolls to leap, dodge, break tentacles grip twice, dodge some more, lay a 1d POW w/o rr on our SV and stun him, the only tackler within range of this mad blodger. Fortunately for us, time was exhausted, and the only elf within scoring range to rob us of our victory was easily dispatched by our deep-safety rat ogre, ensuring the victory.”

(Good game and lots of fun, even though I lost. AFK_Eagle is a good Blood Bowler and I'd be happy to play against him anytime)”
