What a funny game. Lost in the end due to some crazy luck at two points in the game but it was fun.

First half, my blocking was incredible as I kept injuring and knocking out players. I had little chance to stop the initial score (might have been a quick snap too). Anyways, I tried to play a careful cage game, but thanks to a cruddy roll on turn 7, I was not in a position to score without having to roll some dice (maybe a throw and catch, can't recall).

Anyways, turn 8 was disasterous. My block to push a player away to set up the score was a double skulls. With no RR, I had two options to score. One was a 2+ GFI, and the other was a 3+ hand off. Being a gambler, I did the 3+ hand off and it came up 1 (so at least I didn't trip over lol).

So into half time at 1-0.

I am up against 5 and despite some poor ball handling, get the ball to the halfway line. I roll snake eyes to catch or something and the ball spills free.

I roll snake eyes to pick it up needing 2+ and the next turn, my opponent picks up the ball in 2-3 TZs instead, runs and throws a TD pass lol. Luck was certainly with my opponent there.

Anyways, I score a consolation TD near the end, doing an extra pass with a Lino that was not necessary just for the SPP.

To add additional insult to injury (fairness was the victim), my Thrower gets to 32 SPP and ages to get a niggle. The 4th player to age at 31 out of about 12... what rubbish heh.

Anyways, at the end of the day it was a fun game and no major carnage to either team.”
