#4 Pepe Stargazer – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#4 Pepe Stargazer – Smashed Hip (-MA)
What can we say?
The Bay City Bowlers just didnt show up for this match.
Even the hired Star, Deeproot, stumbled around the pitch like a fallen oak. He did manage to ring up two casualties including taking out Grash which caused things to look up for the Bowlers.
But even after this key injury the other trees just couldnt get it done.
Neither could the flings. Dropping like flings left and right with an occassional foul thrown in for good measure.

This was indeed a tough loss. A buttery ball makes for a hard pick up and the Bowlers just couldnt score.

After the match, Pepe Stargazer was let go for future prospects.
So is the fate of blood bowl players everywhere.

The Bowlers will rebound from this tough loss and they look forward to their next match.

#4 Eggly Mornindump – Broken Neck (-AG)
A tough test for the Hobgobs today. While those little halflings aren't too troublesome, these guys brought the lumber! In the form of 3 trees! Thankfully for the Hobgobs, when old Grash heard that Strongbranch fella was going to be there, he made sure he could stop by to help out.

The little buggers put up a lot tougher fight than we might've expected. And those darn trees were knocking Hobgobs left and right. However it was the Hobgobs that managed to draw first blood, both on the scoreboard and on the pitch!

Toward the end of the game, it looked like the Hobgobs might get a second TD and seal the win, but the boyz were having a hard time legging things out. In fact poor ol Eggly managed to break his fool neck trying to get to the ball. Doc says he'll be ok, but likely there'll be some effects.

Those flings were nasty little buggers as well, fouling left and right.. almost enough to earn some Hobgob respect... but... nah!! And I'm sure this loss'll not sit well with them long.. they'll be a scheming their revenge over breakfast... and second breakfast...and elevensies, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner and supper!!
