“It was a booming of a time today! These undead had previously been humiliated by another rat team coached by AFK_Eagle, the Weapon Masters. Since that team is locked up waiting for the FC to begin, they thought they could exact some revenge from the Master's sister skaven team.

Didn't exactly turn out the way he'd hoped...

A turn 2 BH, regen fail, to his str5 wight put the entire undead team into shock, subsequently making mistakes in ball handling and letting the rats converge and steal the ball for an early 1-0 lead. But at the cost of two rats badly hurt, including our DP...though I'll gladly trade our team's DP for a str5 monster anyday!

Lineup again, and the crowd so loved the touchdown they rushed onto the field to congratulate the rats and ask for autographs, knocking aside any undead who might be in their way. Suddenly the undermanned rats found themselves the team with the most standing, and were quick to take advantage and steal the ball for a 2-0 halftime edge.

Second half begins, our numbers are being steadily reduced, with BH's to our team rat ogre and star thrower. But where there's a gutter, there's a way, and we were able to use our far superior speed and agility to stall a good 5 turns before taking the 3-0 lead. Thus, despite having only 7 rats left standing, we were confident in our victory...even when our str4 SV was hurt by that maniac zombie who earned a well-deserved game MVP.

Kudos goes out to our agi4 SV Goyle, who recorded his first ever interception. Of course, Draco rolled double-1 on his dodge-blitz attempt to free Goyle up for the 4-0 lead, but it's all good. Nobody was hurt, our 3 MNG's are back, skill for the rookie, more cash, more fans...very fun match, and you're welcome to a rematch down the road.”
