Eternal Ecstasy
After whiffing in their first Spring appearance, the Ecstasy just grew more and more dangerous as the games passed, and now few teams evoke as much terror as Nightbreed’s team. The team has dominated the Chaos Realm regional, beating convincingly both of his divisional rivals. Now that the stakes are rising, can they step up or will they fall short?
The year so far
3-0-0, 1st in the Realm of Chaos regionals, with only a TD against them by the Nurgle Plaguebearers scored on a nearly impenetrable defence
What’s hot
The mastodon in the room: Lashweaver, Taker of Souls, is a monster and should not be allowed to stay on a Blood Bowl field because it is unfair to the competition. Just look at his STAT block. The thing can do everything, and it has even got faster lately. Nobody has an answer to Lashweaver, and coach Nightbreed is happily taking advantage of this.
What’s not
The Ecstasy have one big problem: Blood Bowl teams are composed of at least 11 players. As good as Lashweaver is, it can’t do it all alone, and the rest of the team is up to the challenge as far as positionals are concerned. The lineman core, however, is painfully mediocre and built around the existence of their star. If the Keeper is hurt or distracted, or if the daemonettes fail to contribute in a meaningful way, EE lacks the X factor to compete against tough opponents.
Player to watch
Sort of a Diet Lashweaver, Skylah the Desired is the rising star in the roster. Being able to reliably befuddle the opponent is an inestimable skill, and the team has the skillset to take full advantage of it. While she may not be the first or even the second choice for ball carrier duty, the daemonette is the best support player of the team, and the one that can keep Eternal Ecstasy together even during the toughest games.

8 – The number of games where Lashweaver failed to score at least one SPP. The Ecstasy has won only two of these games.
