Created in a hidden genetic laboratory, he is an engineered superhuman. Mortarion has superhuman strength, is more robust than any ordinary human and much more savage. He is really adept at blocking, but in order to keep Mortarion that quick and agile, the engineers could only build in some basic armour pieces, so his armour is his weak point, although opponents seldom are able to actually knock him down...
