Rolf got his colorful nickname from the time he was sick before a game against some of Nurgle's Rotters. Confidential sources say that it wasn't so much the opponents sickening smell as his activities from the night before. Whatever the truth of the matter, Rolf heaved all over his shoes as he stumbled onto the pitch. This set off a chain reaction of vomitting up and down the human bench and it soon spread to the fans and officials. The game was called much to the disgust of the opposing team. In any case, Rolf "Upchuck" Spengler is a consumate pro at the catcher position. His play on defense is as agressive when he's streaking down the sideline for a touchdown.

Unfortunately, the regular wear and tear of blood bowl finally got to him and he decided not to press his luck any further on the field. The organization happily made a place for him on the coaching staff in order to pass on his knowledge to rookie catchers.
