COD:

In The Return of the Blacksoul's 31st game, against The Warriors of the Free Folk, the Blacksouls were not doing well. Before the first half ended, The Warriors of the Free Folk decided to test their new members on the front line. Grin was one of these brave recruits. He remained concious despite mighty blow from a flesh golem, but then zombies, wights, and werewolves alike surrounded him. As the others held him down, Hansta Reborn disemboweled him. He then proceeded to pass the innards of Grin around to the rest of the Blacksouls. The Warriors of the Free Folk could have brought him back, but seeing as this was Grin's debut onto the bloodbowl field, they decided to save their apothicary for someone more important. Mr. Deathmoore saw this, and decided to re-animate Grin, and field him against his contracted team. His bravery on the front line for The Warriors of the Free Folk, and his fiendish behavior as a member of The Return of the Blacksouls earned him the MVP for both teams! A new contract for Grin was written up post game, and he is now a perminant member of the Blacksouls. Mr. Deathmoore can't let talent like that slip through his arms.

Why he wasn't reanimated again:

At the very beginning of The Return of the Blacksoul's 39th game, an orc of the team "Hudjis Mighty Lions" managed to get a lucky blow against Grin, breaking every usable bone in his body. Unfortunitally, Mr. Deathmoore has not had much luck in the grave digging department lately, and could not repair him in time to keep Grin's soul bound.
