Since the massive TV cut after 101 games (40 wins/40 losses) Crom IS the team. He picks up all the balls, scores the all touchdowns, he harrases the enemy on defense.
The Kruelty can't afford the TV to train a replacement while he is active, and don't have the extra gold, or the heart, to let him go while he's serving up wins on a silver platter. The Kruelty are gonna ride him until he pops. Hopefully he's enjoying the fame and babes that are coming his way.
