Game 16: This was a very active performance for what is Ser Arten's, arguably, most entertaining player. In a driving, game-long blizzard against Orcs, Manticore struck first, recovering a loose ball from a stunned blitzer (score one for the Spiked Ball!) and running it in. After that, it became more of a comedy of errors as he punctured himself with the Spiked Ball at the end of the first half, trying to show off and sneak in another completion. Then he failed an easy dodge out (double 1's) in the second half, slipping on a patch of snow. Finally, on turn 16, he double failed a GFI in the end zone with the ball, face planting on the ice and failing to score the 4th TD for the team. On the bright side, he did pass 100 rushing yards on the way to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
Game 18: The team's 2-1 win was somewhat dampened by a nasty foul that MA-busted Manticore. Ser Arten decided to use his only potion to heal him and get him back on the field for the team's last game of the tournament.
Game 20: Yet ANOTHER game against dwarves. Manticore proved that using the Apo on a BH on him in the first half was the right call (despite his teammate's, Windfire, death later in the game). In the 2nd Half, after the ball was Wizard Lightning'ed out, Manticore was able to Leap over his marker, grab the ball in a TZ, dodge out, double GFI (using a RR), and complete a pass to Windfire, who scored a couple turns later for the win.
Game 21: The idiot leaped his way to death.
