Brae grew up as the foster-son of a dwarven blacksmith in Remas (Tilea) and adopted many of the dwarven customs, views and virtues. While he performed well as blacksmith apprentice, his true love was Blood Bowl. Together with his foster-father he frequently used to watch broadcasts on Cabal Vision, in particular games of the Agility Monsters (that they both find ridiculous, but somewhat entertaining).
When recently Grindball got popular all over Tilea, Brae saw his chance to engage in the sport. Alas, while his mentor even hung out with the Grindball team Ironfist's Nomads, he didn't approve those plans: In his opinion Grindball was a crude, primitive imitation of true Blood Bowl. However, knowing he wouldn't be able to retain the young man for long, he used all his influence and even some money to get him a spot on the team 'Grind', founded by the TGC, the inventors of Grindball.
Brae believes in true comradeship and his goal is to become a hardened Blood Bowl veteran that his teammates can always rely on.
